Well, what we found out was … there is no deficit of premium quality silk. There’s even a demand for it but as we said before, it’s not that freely available. Why? It’s easier to persuade a buyer that your 19 Momme silk is “the highest quality premium silk” or “silk from heaven” while in reality it’s far off of a real ‘Premium quality’ silk.
It just didn’t seem fair so we jumped in silk manufacturing by ourselves and started right off with the highest available quality of silk - 25 Momme. As the time went on we understood that it’s even better to give a customer an option to choose - he want to go with ‘king of the silk’ (25 Momme) or he's here just to try it out and will start with something more simple like 19 or 22 Momme? Either option is good, it’s just nice to have an option, right?
