For years, physical exfoliation has meant relying on abrasive grainy scrubs or scratchy synthetic sponges that compromise your skin’s natural barrier. But deeply renewing your skin shouldn’t cause redness or irritation. We bypassed these harsh traditional methods entirely and designed the SilkWide exfoliating glove around the natural gripping power of raw silk. Crafted using a highly specialized Crepe de Chine weave, our gloves work in harmony with just warm water to safely bind to and roll away dead skin cells. It is a completely chemical-free process that transforms a rough scrubbing into a gentle, highly effective ritual, leaving your body exceptionally smooth and radiant.
Not all silk is made for sleeping. For our peeling gloves, we specifically source pure raw silk woven in a traditional Crepe de Chine style. Instead of a smooth and shiny finish, this specific weaving technique twists the threads tightly to give the silk a slightly grainy, matte texture that acts as a gentle micro-exfoliant.
When wet, these raw silk fibers swell and naturally bind to the dead skin cells and buildup on your body. As you massage the glove over your skin, it physically rolls away the dead skin in visible sheets - all without scratching or damaging your healthy skin barrier.
Many exfoliating tools on the market can feel too harsh, too rough, or simply not suitable for frequent use. Heavy body brushes are often made for intense scrubbing, while grainy salt and sugar scrubs can feel abrasive and disrupt your skin’s natural balance.
Our Crepe de Chine silk exfoliating gloves offer a much gentler alternative. The texture is soft, refined, and comfortable on the skin, yet highly effective. It provides a superior, deep mechanical exfoliation using absolutely no chemicals or soapy residues—just pure water and natural silk, leaving the surface feeling deeply cleansed and renewed.
Because facial skin and body skin have very different needs, we created two separate silk exfoliating gloves. Using the same glove for both areas is dangerous for your complexion, as it can easily transfer bacteria and body oils directly into your delicate facial pores.
Because physical exfoliation removes the top layer of dead skin, your freshly exposed pores are highly vulnerable. Fabric safety is our top priority, which is why our peeling gloves are strictly OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. This independent certification guarantees the raw silk is completely free from harmful toxins and artificial dyes, making it a safe, hygienic choice for highly sensitive or reactive skin.
For the best peeling results, do not use soap or body wash with the glove. Simply soak your body in a warm shower or bath for 5 to 10 minutes to soften your skin. Wet the silk glove, squeeze out the excess water, step away from the shower stream, and firmly massage your skin in long, upward strokes. Watch as the dead skin visibly rolls away!
After use, rinse the glove thoroughly with warm water and hang it by its loop to air dry.
Do not machine wash or use fabric softeners, as this will destroy the silk’s gripping texture. Apply your regular body wash and moisturizing lotions only after you have finished exfoliating.
